Princess Viktória recites a special poem
Princess Viktória de Bourbon de Parme, patron of the Dutch branch of Save the Children, participated in the project 'Save with stories'. Before this, Viktória, who now lives with her family and husband Prince Jaime in Geneva, has read a piece from her favorite book. The princess reported that on Instagram on Sunday. That reading was for "all children who are now at home because of the corona virus."
Viktória, who has also written books herself, says she chose "for a very nice poem". That even had a secret message, she said. "It explains why the zoos are also closed at the moment." Then she recited 'In Artis lives an elephant', written by Ted van Lieshout. That tells about an ambitious elephant who wants to fly himself. "But that is not a sight, so the doors are closed."
The entire poem, recited for Viktória, can be heard in the Instagram video below (red: see the link).
