Ha, the Lennon Sisters came to my school and performed. Even now, decades later, I don't know how or why that happened. I went to all all-girls' convent school, and they showed up one day, so we had an assembly and listened to them sing. They were still very young, so young that I think the youngest sister was still in grade school.  I know they went to Catholic school down in southern California, so maybe there was some connection that way.

I will always remember them singing ``Tonight You Belong to Me.''   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PdnH-BAybk

You can find some really weird old videos of them on You tube. There's one of them with all four girls hugging stuffed poodles that makes no sense at all.

Thank you for sharing.

I grew up with Freddie Mercury doing this song, see the link below. I knew it was a cover, but I didn't know from whom.
Apparently it was also a cover by Clark

Wikipedia about 'The great pretender':

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Great_Pretender

"The Great Pretender" is a popular song recorded by the Platters, with Tony Williams on lead vocals, and released as a single in November 1955. The words and music were written by Buck Ram, the Platters' manager and producer who was a successful songwriter before moving into producing and management.

The song has been covered by a number of singers, most notably by Freddie Mercury, whose version reached No. 4 on the UK charts. Sam Cooke's cover of the song is believed to have inspired Chrissie Hynde to name her band the Pretenders
