If there's some important news, or a new photograph has been released, I'll look at (or for) that thread first.  But mostly I scroll & jump around.  I like the Swedish, British and Danish threads so I generally end up in one of those.

If I feel blue I go to the tiara/jewelry threads for a pick-me-up.

Any time I see posts from Cyril Sebastian, I go right to them first.  My fave!  I always learn something new!

Top-down (but I skip Mary threads when they are very vicious for ex. her birthday - it becomes so samey samey)

Mostly I am shallow and I want to see what the royal women wear so I will check Mary, Leti, Máx, sometimes Kate, sometimes Rania, always Caroline of Monaco. I also like to see news of Charlene and hope she will recover fully.

Non-royal stuff is interesting, especially the Covid posts and breaking news.

“Vicious”? You mean your fellow RD members posting about Mary’s excesses are vicious? That’s quite an accusation. Which posts were vicious rather than mocking or just critical?

Hester, Maria says that opinions do not need to be explained. I made no comment on RD members.

You made an implied accusation IMO. Only RDers are posting in the thread, so if you describe the posts as vicious that pertains to the people posting. Elsewhere you have said, though, that you misunderstood the meaning of the word, so that explanation is preferred to justification. All good.

If I am watching television and it is science fiction or there is violence I do not dismiss immediately but if it becomes very boring (SciFi) or it unsettles (Violence) then I switch it off.

It does not mean I am commenting on the film maker or the actors.

There was no implied accusation on my part.

Same! Jewelry is soothing.

I used to start with Spanish and Danish threads, then Norwegian, Swedish. For a long time I ignored the British threads—until they gave us a lot to talk about!

I enjoyed the Morocco thread while lala salma was profiled a lot. Less so now.

Anything with Cyril Sebastian because posts are short and I’ll learn something. I enjoy the fashion threads a lot. Shout out to Principessa for doing the heavy lifting with photos and fashion ideas.

I also find I am not particularly interested in reading about various princelings and pretenders whose kingdoms have vanished. I'm sure some of them are big deals in the European aristocracy scheme, but they are all pretty much fungible to me.

There are some postings I read just because I might need a hit of snark, so, for example, i look for Princess Pushy of Kent and Princess- or is she the Duchess?-- Barbie of whatever the two kingdoms. I guess some of the Greek grandkids fall into that category as well. So sometimes I'm an evil person . . . .
