She looks nice but very fallish. I wish she had gone with a lighter colour.

Was one of Bea's causes represented at the garden party? I find it quite interesting that she has attended, given that she is not a working member of the BRF and that Eugebie hasn't made an appearance this year. Given her appearance at the RHS too this week, I wonder (and hope) that some sort of official role may be carved out for her, something like Princess Alexandra?

I was wondering if this was a bit of a try out for her. I'm all for Bea being at least part time, as most of the working BRF is aging fast. As for her dress, it is in fall shades, but it's light and short sleeved. She also has wisely not tried to outdo the other ladies. The hairband/hat is a no go for me though.

Beatrice and Eugenie have been attending at least one garden party every year for a while now so I won’t read anything into it. The future seems pretty set with the chosen seven with the rest perfectly able to support charities on their own time while working real jobs and performing a handful of duties as requested.

Like the Micheal's of Kent Beatrice and Eugenie normally attend one Garden Party a year. Again Like the Micheal's of Kent her she usually attends the Chelsea Flower Show but like them she wasn't listed in the CC. As an extended family member she makes news when she attends events but rarely is she listed as doing so officially. The chance for her to be a Princess Alexandra person has past. She was told that would be her role right through school but when finishing uni was told by Charles and William that she wasn't wanted or needed going forward so there will be no role for her on any official basis other than the very occasional event such as a Garden Party.

Loathe as I am to criticise any woman's body, Bea looks very thin, and also very tired. The dress is pretty but not amazing.
I hate those fat headband things no matter who wear them - they should all be burned.

Thank you LL, LC and OC...a girl can dream! Mainly because I'd love to see an array of tiaras on Bea's head given her exquisite hair colour.

Agreed, Svenska but I think we’ll be holding our breathe for a long time, unfortunately. I love her hair, too so with an array of tiaras, nice updo, would be a nice dream to see!

She did look lovely on her wedding day, wearing Queen Mary's fringe tiara.

She did look lovely on her wedding day, wearing Queen Mary's fringe tiara. I thought she was the best looking royal bride in ages (UK OR Europe). The gown, the tiara, the veil. It all worked. I just wish she had more family pieces to wear, jewelry-wise. "This was your great-grandmother's 21st birthday present, and now it's yours." kind of thing.

She looks good in the clearly Chanel-inspired Alice & Olivia suit. I like the blue shoes. I'm kind of digging her odd, one-off fashion statements.
