Big church celebrations seem to be a 20th century thing.  Princess Patricia of Connaught was the first to wed at Westminster, then Princess Mary and the Yorks in the 20s.  Beatrice's wedding venue reminds me of her ggg-aunt Beatrice, married at the small church of Whippingham near Osborne.

I think she's stunning in this photo.

I have feeling she went with the Yorkie tiara. she seems sentimental and it was lowkey wedding. So, I dont think she'd go for show stoppers, but hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised. Fingers crossed.

Fingers crossed for either the Yorkie or the Strathmore Rose!

Pictures will probably be released around 10 PM BST for the Sunday newspapers editions.

Looks like it was a fringe tiara - possibly the same one HM and Anne wore? Odd to see a tiara repeat IMO but hey she looks fab.

that is quite a special wedding tiara to wear - with the Queen and Pss Anne wearing it.

First pic, most the papers so far seem to be focussing on Andrew not being in the pic released

A number of sites were saying it was the Queen Mary fringe one but fringe tiaras are notoriously hard to tell apart so I wouldn't be surprised either way. Wouldn't surprise me if HM has more than one.

Wow!!  I was way off on the dress and the tiara!  I wish we could see a full shot of the gown!  Maybe we’ll see more pictures.

Holy cr*p is that Queen Mary’s Fringe?  Liz has never lent that out to anyone.  Granted it was The Queen Mother’s until her death.  Love, love, love.

Though I would have liked an updo not that her hair doesn’t look fabulous.

Seems likely that it was the QM fringe - seriously special loaner from the Queen.

The bride's vintage dress was made by Norman Hartnell and worn by the Queen at the 1967 State Opening of Parliament. It was remodelled and fitted by Angela Kelly and @Stewart_Parvin

Surprising till the end !

It's  one of the Queen's gowns !
