When I look at a photo of Beatrice, I see Fergie. Then I see Andy. Then I see Fergie. Then I see Andy again.
She’s an exact blend of both of them, except for her eyes which are all her own.
Her eyes remind me of that iconic portrait of a young Victoria  I was just thinking the same! Is it the one where Victoria is reclining and looking to her left, her long hair flowing? If so, that's the same one I think of when j think of Bea. Also, my mother in her youth resembles Victoria in that portrait! |

She does look great and I liked her gown, right up until I hit that ruffle. Not sure what is up with all the ruffled, tiered styles this year but it’s not a good one for her, esp in line with the trim fit of the gown. Love the color palette on her.

Edo should not wear that shade trousers under velvet jacket. they clash to my eyes G I like the colours but the fabric print is very "busy" and that frill is awful. If it was a slimline dress at or above the knee it would be better - although probably not foe this occasion. |

About the eyes. Yes, Queen Victoria and some of her children had huge eyes but they were blue ("Hanover eyes"). Beatrice's eyes have an especially lovely jewel colour. Her colouring is absolutely unique and I think she looks stunning. She looks like young Queen Victoria, just taller, slimmer and with autumn colours.

Think it’s interesting that of all the family, Beatrice is the one throwback to looking like Queen Victoria. Especially with Sarah’s fascination with her back in the time. Genes are funny. Can’t wait to see what Sienna looks like, if Beatrice ever shares a pic! |

This is why I hate tiered dresses, they always look like somebody finished making the dress and then decided it wasn’t long enough and started adding extra fabric one row at a time. At least this one is the same fabric, unlike that ugly extra length she added to her wedding dress that wasn’t even close to the same fabric. I think if this dress ended just below her knees, this would have been a good look for her, as her hair and makeup look very pretty, and I like the statement earrings, even though I think gold would have gone better with the dress. |
