September 5
Fred and Yrma articipated in Denmark's Flag Day 2020
They first attended a respect ceremony at 'The Citadel' (Kastellet) in Copenhagen held in order to honor soldiers and officials who are or have been deployed abroad by Denmark.

t was a clearly moved crown prince couple who, surrounded by, among other things, relatives of fallen soldiers, showed respect at the memorial service on Flag Day by, among other things, putting together a wreath.

During "In Denmark I was born" - sung by Pernille Rosendahl - Mary sang deeply.

Afterwards, a church service was held at Holmen's Church. September 5 is an official day which is celebrated for the purpose of honoring Denmark's deployed soldiers, and celebrated with various ceremonies and events across the country. The Flag Day was celebrated for the first time in 2009.

Fred looks sober/pulled together and Mary amazing. They seem to be in a better place individually and together.

Not a fan of the flap of fabric hanging down the front of the coat, but otherwise it's a nice outfit for Mary. Fred showed up for work so kudos to him too!  Thumb up

I don't think many women wear stockings anymore so I don't mind. Nothing wrong with bear legs IMO.

Lank hair hanging down the back spoils the look. Too long - she can't carry off that hair.

What our latest new member, Andrzej, is telling us all to check out, is a right wing online newspaper. I don't know if we're allowed to advertise other things on this board, but I only wish to warn people that this is a political site, and rather misplaced in a topic about Mary's colon hair  Blink

It’s a stable in most Scandinavian women’s wardrobe from October through March. See: MM for the very typical use of black stockings with pretty much everything.
