Valentino Clemente Ludovico Garavani (11 May 1932), known mononymously as Valentino, is an Italian fashion designer, the founder of the Valentino brand and company. His main lines include Valentino, Valentino Garavani, Valentino Roma, and R.E.D. Valentino.

Hard to imagine anyone who isn't a cleric today wearing a garment embroidered with beaded ``keys of heaven.'' Or getting excited about plastic ``pearls.'' That said, it's a pretty extraordinary frock.
