Lookee!  Mary’s horse won first at another dressage event despite the sack of potatoes on his back.  What a good horse!  And look at that shaggy groom ...

In that first picture, the horse does not appear to like what it smells.......

Is Mary really such a good horsewoman or did they choose the other two deliberately so that she would win? (Or did they maybe receive some money for losing Secret)

WHAAAA, Kristallinchen....I almost added to my post as well   I thought maybe a scholarship....LOL.

From an old equestrian friend back home who was interviewed about Yrma's skills the first time it was made public in DK that she (Yrma) was a horse enthusiats and skilled horse woman, came the answer that Mary was rather mediocre because she was not really into it, but it had some status value, hence her picking it up.

Sooooooo, she might have improved over the course of time riding horses, albeit what she is doing is not really horse riding, but her attendance at an Children's dressage competition is utterly embarrassing.

That's what I expected. It's sad that Mares only does things, because they're expected.

Doesn't she have any real hobbies? (And no going shopping doesn't count). Her life must be so shallow and boring. Not to mention how hard it must be pretending to be someone you're not.

I looked at the photos and saw that the 2nd & 3rd place winners look like they are teenagers. So Mary beats some kids and gets 1st place?

Dressage is a tough snd scrupulous sport. There is no way a rider as clumsy and stopped as Mary would get anywhere in competition.

I guess if this is a local competition it would make sense she is competing against girls that age. I think most women Mary’s age wouldn’t have time to be devoted to dressage.

And even if they are, they probably wouldn't compete against teenagers.
