This one is a stunner! I love Art Deco tiaras. I looked it up, and Rose Kennedy borrowed it when in the UK in the late 1930s! More info here for anyone interested: http://orderofsplendor.bl...ay-bessborough-tiara.html

One of my favorites the Nizam  of Hyderabad necklace https://jewelry.yournexts...nizam-hyderabad-necklace/. A shame the matching tiara was dismantled http://orderofsplendor.bl...m-of-hyderabad-tiara.html.

I too wish they had not dismantled the Nizam of Hyderabad tiara. I wonder if they kept the frame.

When was the Nizam of Hyderabad Tiara dismantled?

I don't think there was a definite date, but it wasn't seen for a long time and eventually Hugh Roberts confirmed in The Queen's Diamonds that it had been dismantled and the pieces used to construct the monstrosity that is the Burmese Ruby Tiara (no, I will never be over this crime).
