Mary in and with Prada:

Top and bag:

Recycling her Prada bag:

Dress and coat/vest:

Bag:

Dress:

Dress:

Coat:

Suit:

Skirt:

Skirt (which looks like someone had an accident  Thinking ):

Mary still dresses like the "new money" type of girl, which I find funny because she wore the most Prada in the early 2010s (almost ten years into their marriage). What is she (and her stylist) thinking?

Mary is very pretty in this pic.

Heavily airbrushed.

Most of the outfits are horrible not necessarily on her just anyway. Some are not horrible and a small few are actually flattering. I can't figure out if she has slim legs or thick legs maybe it is just the high heels that do her no favors? She is both skinny and thick it is a weird presentation.

Thank you, I was just thinking that same thing, this brand didn't flatter her at all. She must have worn solely for label appeal.

I am a definitely the exception here as I actually loved some of the more quirky Prada outfits, i.e. the multicoloured coat, the purple dresses, the tie-dyed skirt (blue and beige) and dress and bedazzled brown dress and beige/champagne coat, the latter of which I actually much preferred before the alterations. For me those outfits were true Prada and worth paying for if you were buying just for the brand name.

The other preppy looks she’s so fond of, and simple dresses are just bland and any designer could have made them.

I expected to see a lot of fashion misses on this thread but there are a number of looks where Mary looks really good. I don’t think she has any style or flair whatsoever, but some outfits here look great on her. Many look sort of twee, like Charlotte from Sex and the City but not bad.

I’d agree with that. Because of her somewhat difficult figure, she looks best in very tailored outfits. When she goes “twee” is normally when she looks worst.

Mary doesn't have the body or presentation for twee. She has no style to me definitely not preppy or classy but maybe a little prim. She grabs at designers that other people have said are great even if they aren't great or right for her. But when you don't have your own style it never really takes off you just get an occasional hit like some of those dresses work with her body type and aren't too weird so it accidentally works. She is very stuck on some unfortunate themes like dirndl skirts and that horrible 70s hair and she really likes satin and sparkly stuff. Oh and dumb jewelry. To me that just says she never outgrew yanking things out of the bargain bin in the back of a mid price store.
