I'm not sure if a thread for this exists, but if it does, please let me know.
This is just a thread for Mary's ugly (and definitely overpriced) Prada outfits. (Along with a rating on a scale of 1-10; 1 being not ugly and 10 being the ugliest thing Mares have ever worn.)
I give it a solid 5. I cannot believe that she wore this in 2019. I am sure that if she wore it in the early 2000s (when her obsession with hats was at its peak), it would be okay; the only problem is that it's 2020. However, I am beyond grateful that she did not pair it with the necklace and bright red handbag the model was wearing. (Mares has a tendency to do that sometimes.) Would have looked better with black pumps, tbh. The white collar makes it look more like a child's dress than an adult's. (it's very out of place IMO, too!)
Heather Duke? Is that you?? I give this outfit a 7.5. It's a bit bulky on her IMO, it would have looked better if it wasn't as wrinkly at the arms and upper skirt area. A few more alterations would be nice. If the black turtleneck didn't cover your entire neck, I would have given her a 7. And why are there four pockets? Why would four pockets be needed? IMO they look like pie vents tbh. Or are they for carrying your Prada accessories? We musn't forget the microscopic Prada keychain, shall we!
I-- why?? Why, Mary? You wore the same exact thing not once, not twice, but three! Times! I am beyond horrified. The jacket is too bulky, highlighter green is not a good look on you. The mustard yellow shoes do not compliment the highlighter jacket, nor do the the pants (especially since neither of the three match). There's just so much going on. The dark (mustard) yellow heels, the bright jacket, the dark pants (and the frilly white shirt in its latest appearance). I give this fit an 8.8. It's just even more proof that name brands and high prices don't buy style. Personally, I would go for dark colors (dark red, purples, blues, etc.) look more flattering than bright colors. Also, simple, matching/monochrome looks are a lot better (and less intimidating on the eyes) than colorful, frilly, puffy clothes.
