My province is over 40% of eligible people (12 plus) with at least one dose. We'll be at 50% in no time which is fantastic.
My mom had her first dose (Pfizer) back in March (85F). Canada expanded the interval between doses so she hasn't had the second one yet. She had arm pain right after getting it and it went away only to come back a few weeks later. Its been almost 2 months and she's still having issues. Wondering if anyone else is having the same issue. Her dr says its arthritis (her dr says everything is arthritis) and didn't even examine her as it was a phone appointment.
Just a thought - My sister had persistent arm pain after having blood drawn and they diagnosed nerve damage from a too-tight tourniquet. It eventually went away on its own, but it did take about a year.
Now, I know a shot doesn't involve a tourniquet but maybe the needle grazed a nerve? (Is that possible?)
On another note, my husband has had a semi-persistent neck and head pain after receiving his 2nd dose on 4/30 which is worrying me a lot. I have worn my throat hoarse asking him to go to his Dr but like some do, he keeps putting it off.
