Based on nothing more than my years lurking and now posting on this site, it seems like Benedikte has done a flawless job being a "spare."  It looks like she has understood her role, embraced it, and loved it.  Plus she just seems so gracious and elegant!

September 8
Bene inaugurated a new pool at the Breelteparken nursing home Hørsholm
The care center was originally built on the idea of the princess' mother, Queen Ingrid, who together with Emma McKinney Mærsk-Møller devised the place and its function with both nursing homes and nursing homes.

Breelteparken is still a modern, functional hub for 51 nursing home residents and 146 nursing homes, led by principal Helle Jensen, who happily welcomed the princess on arrival with the chairman of the board, Thorkild Grevelund.

After receiving flowers from 102-year-old Aage Wied Pedersen, the place's royal patron was able to cut the cord and inaugurate a new, beautiful and long-awaited hot water pool, which will not only benefit the place's residents.

October 6
Bene participates in an evening event of Koldinghus in Kolding
As an honorary patron for the Kings Collection at Koldinghus, Princess Benedikte attended dinner in Koldinghus with speeches among another museum director of the Kings Collection Thomas C. Thulstrup, and the mayor of Kolding Municipality Jørn Pedersen as well as a feature at Saint Nicolai Church's Boys Choir.

The event marked the Kings Collection thanks to the members of Kolding City Council for welcoming the Kings Collection to Kolding. On January 1., 2021, the Kings Collection took over the operation of Koldinghus, which thus became the Kings Collection's third visiting place besides Rosenborg and the Amalienborg Museum.

Before tonight's dinner, the guests of the event received a tour of Koldinghus's current exhibitions "Queen's Embroidery" and "Christian V - King warrior and anointed by God".
