Christian looks more royal than his dad.
I hope he will be a good king, sensible, willing to learn, willing to try, able to make several steps further.
Most of all, I hope he will be happy with himself.
He looks very good in this pics and I agree with Cordelia that he's just starting to take duties and he seems to be doing well.
As for the fist, IMO he would like to do a crazy excitement move but he had to be civilised so he disguied it into a fist... ? My guess.
In this particular photo he reminds a lot of sweet Vincent!

Well Nik certainly is a stunner, and Felix looks nice, but then both of them are young but adults, while Xian is in the midst of puberty. So how he will actually really look when he comes out of that rather strange and dark tunnel called adolescence is not yet certain. The hairstyle doesn't help either. But he seems to like it and since I see the "popper-style" as it is called here way too often, I have to assume he is sporting it quite deliberately.
He is tall, he seems sporty and I think he also looks very nice and open. So all well, I think...

personally, i never found nikolai handsome, he seems to be a nice guy, gook looking but not more, felix for me is more handsome
for christian, he is just 15 years, hard to say now how he will look as an adult

It looks like Christian is making an obscene gesture in that picture so that is unfortunate. I think Felix and Nikolai are handsome because they have a combination of nice features and they have life and spirit in them. I don't see that yet in Christian and Fred's light has been extinguished for a while. Joachim's sons are also more stylish here. Poor Christian looks like he is wearing cotton/poly blend pants from LL Bean I mean who wearing a crease going down their trousers in casual wear? Mary probably doesn't want to lower her clothing budget to make sure her kids are better dressed.

I agree and that’s a great way to describe them. Funny how the kids from the broken home look happier than the kids from the intact family. Maybe Christian is going through an awkward phase - it’s hard to tell. He looks like a nice kid, and that’s a good thing. |

He does look very nice that is a net effect of seeing him more regularly in these last few weeks for the first time. His looks will settle and if he is kind and gets nicely fitted clothing he will be fine.

He has time enough to grow into his features, already has lovely eyes, is still sprouting to an enviable height and will find a hairstyle that suits him. It is truly a marvel that this lovely teen emerged from such a level of dysfunction in his environment. He is not his parents but they must have done something right (with help from nannies, school, family). |
