Where’s there’s smoke there’s fire, even though this can be a gossipy rag, it said that Marie prefers Denmark to Paris which is a bit surprising considering Marie is from France.

These two have always been polite to each other, I have never sensed they were close. Mary is too competitive to have another princess by marriage around.

IKR It's like the knives are out for Mary and I can't say I'm sad about it.

Yeah. And while that certainly was very enjoyable, it was also very unexpected. I don’t remember seeing articles going with that angle before. But please, various medias around the world... Keep it coming!

I wonder if its because she is a “somebody” in Denmark? Perhaps, even so why not? Denmark has given her the husband, titles and social position. Denmark "made" her, so the least she could do is make it her number 1 preference.

Exactly my thoughts While i liked Marie i saw her move to France like a slape in Danish ppl face..they didn't even pretend they will divise time between France and Danemark and i was like

I get the sense that there was a push for J&A to not be in Denmark ..... short-time? long-time? And so, the question came up as to where to go. Since Marie is from France and there has always been a French connection (Henrik and Cayx) ..... voilà. As for the p!ssing contest between the two Danish Princesses ..... the common denominator is Mary when it Alex was still in family and now with Marie. Hmmmmmmmm

This kind of article rubs me the wrong way. Starting way back with Diana vs Sarah, Kate vs Meghan and now a rewarming of Mary vs Marie, the press figured out that cat fights between women sold papers.
Most of these sister-in-law feuds are cooked up to sell papers and generate clicks, especially during the quiet holiday season when the press needs to generate traffic to the site. I don't see anything new here, just a sad attempt to sell papers. If there is a personality clash, my guess is it's between the brothers.
Mary and Marie don't seem to be close, but I don't think they are at daggers drawn either. I don't they they interact enough to be enemies. There might be issues within the DRF, but I don't think it's fair to lay all the blame at Mary's door either.
Gosh, I don't mean to be such a Mary sugar, it's more that I wish the public wouldn't fall for the feuding sister-in-laws storyline each time the media casts about for something juicy to draw in readers.

You are right to call out the sexism shastadaisy that is definitely going on. But it is an easy trope to fall back on when one of the protagonists keeps giving you fodder. Didn't Mary storm out of a family event when Marie corrected Christian's behavior? I mean talk about childish and bitchy.
