Joachim & Marie attend various events on the occasion of Daisy's 50th ascension to the throne anniversary.


Wreath laying ceremony
The start of Daisy's 50 ascensions to the throne was marked with a wreath-laying ceremony at King Frederik IX and Queen Ingrid's grave at Roskilde Cathedral.

I just want to give Marie and Jokke the biggest hug. Also would like the wipe the smug off of Mare's face.

Visiting Folketingen
The official commemoration of Her Majesty the Queen's 50th Anniversary of Government took place this morning in the Landstingsalen at Christiansborg Castle.

It’s So nice to see Marie and Joachim at Royal events. Marie looks fantastic, she is clearly very happy to be back, if only for a day or so.

Gorgeous dress. I would have switched Vincent and Athena. I would imagine Fred is delighted to be next to Marie and Mary is probably horrified to be next to Joachim. Glad Marie and Isabella can talk to each other something mother Mary probably can't stand and Isabella is either confused or delighted by her auntie's charm.

I’ve remarked before that the only time I ever see stress in Marie’s face is when she is within 10 metres of Mary.
