Yrma was spotted riding a horse at Christiansborg Arena
She was seen at the Christiansborg riding arena where royal horses are kept during the winter months. She rode the horse Edelmann at the riding arena. Isabella's horse, Lancet, and Josephine's pony are also kept in the Christiansborg royal stables during winter.

Last fall, Yrma made her debut as a dressage rider.

I don't ride but I'm pretty sure you don't lean back like that. Upright posture in conformance with the saddle and horse is what is required no? She looks sloppy and honestly like she is reacting to seeing a cute guy.

Well usually when you are leisurely riding out, you don't sit in the sattle like in a competition ring. And it is a picture in mid motion. So I don't judge her. And considering what she wakes up to in the morning, a cute guy might actually make her day...

I think the horse does a lot of the work in this situation.

The look on the horse's face, esp in the second photo seems to say "Oh why did she pick me to be her photo op? I would have been much happier in a nice, warm stable".

Well yes, but that horse is (as Barrie very correctly stated) actually putting in some work...

It would not shock me if we later find out that the poor horse is suffering from depression.

I wonder if she even tacks up her own horse and then brushes it out afterwards and stables it?

Mary is the only person I've ever seen who manages to look supercilious while riding a horse.  She has a real talent in that area.

How can she have such a poor seat on a horse after all that training? She is simply no a natural. And that has been the case since her teenage years. Usually people who engage with horses at an early age develop skilfully. I don't know whether the fact that she has always been stooped and round-shoulders affects her riding?
