I had been wondering about this! My exposure to the DRF is basically what I see on here, so I had been wondering if there were more posts on Mary than him just bc it's more fun to talk about her clothing/etc, or if she truly is a lot busier than he is.
And that's no implication that it's shallow to talk about her clothing, of course; I love following the fashion and the not-fashion of the royals!
I admit to not reading gossip magazines since that fateful night in Paris 1997, but judging from the ratio of front page covers, the women of the DRF are considered far more interesting than the males, which I think is how it has always been.
I have always thought Mary worked more than Frederik. But it is based solely on my not seeing much of him in the media. Neither Frederik nor Mary hold a lot of interest for me, though I tend to try to be fair.
