What in the heck is she wearing at the museum?  Is it an extra long dickie over a shirt tied with a belt?  Whatever it is, imo it looks ridiculous!

I was thinking the same thing. That striped turtleneck bib is one of the weirdest things I've ever seen. I think someone could sew Hugo Boss labels in garbage and Mary would wear it.

So now I google 'dickie' and it is A Thing  but Mary is not wearing one. I like this style. It has been around for some time now and I like that it is fun and gives life to a simple outfit. Maybe I will change the belt for another but that is all.

I have 2 of these sleeve less turtle neck and they are useful to add some warmth and some colour without wear a jacket or a cardigan. They are also good (over a big shirt) on my 'fat' days every month.

October 11
The Derf's visited Haslev
The Derf's paid a visit to Haslev in connection with the city's 150th anniversary. In October 1870, the railway came to Haslev. It initiated rapid development for the small village. Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary attended celebrations of the 150th anniversary of station town.

I liked that outfit until I saw the pants. Something more tapered would have looked better. I like the coat, and it looks bl00dy freezing!

October 13
Yrma and the twins attended the World Cup qualifiers
Crown Princess Mary, together with Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine, showed that the national football team had their full support at Denmark's World Cup qualifier in the Park on Tuesday night.

Dressed in Dannebrog's happy colors in the form of romance caps, Vincent's cool red and white DBU scarf and the twins 'red DBU jerseys paid tribute to the royal three-leaf clover from the spectators' national team during the match, which ended with a terrific victory for Denmark over Austria and which has now secured the national team. participation in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Tongue No manner. Poor Izzy had to play mom.

She is only 10, so I would give her a pass. She might turn into one of the entitled spares that we see in the Netherlands but there is still hope.

Izzy looks so bored and unhappy in that video, and not just in an "I'm so embarrassed to be seen with my younger siblings" way many teenagers are. No 14 year old should have to "play mum" to a 10 year old who, quite frankly, should know how to behave properly, as least in public. Throwing popcorn and catching it with your mouth is an activity for home, not out. My parents were never super strict but but have had a fit if I did that. Along with eating with my mouth open.

Izzy looks like Daisy fed up of Mary's (in this case Josie) behaviour. Is Josie the youngest twin? She seems to have that youngest child of the family vibe and uses it to get up to mischief.

They're quite young to have a camera boring in on them at a function indoors like that, did they know they were being filmed?

I think you can go two ways if you raise royal children: The one way is to make sure from an very early age that they are aware that they are being filmed and act accordingly (William and Kate, Leti and Filip, Victoria), try and leave them out of the lime light (works for spares and minor royals, approach of the Wessexes, partly of the BRF). Or let them act happy-go-lucky and provide the excuse "kid".

Josi with the age of 10 is about to cross into teenager years and different underlying measurements. It shows that she has been brought up rather liberal. If you grew up in a conservative you would simply not act like this. I work as a secondary teacher and I can assure you that this is the philosophy of a lot of parents "my kid should grow up free and make its own mind".

Not sure how Danish people bring up their children in general.

If Marie were Josie’s mother Josie  would be well behaved.

True. But French people in general raise their children more conservative than many other Europeans. Plus: These are the spare kids: They aren't in the limelight that often and people are more criticical of them (see Leonore in Sweden during that concert). Plus: Mares is an attention seeker so her kids are more likely brought up that it is okay to look for attention.
