I'm getting a pregnancy vibe from Marie, last two outfits are not really her style

That would be fantastic!

Fingers crossed for a change of life baby!!!

It looks like a food baby. She is looking fuller in the middle. These two move with deliberation and thought so if it is a surprise baby no one more than them would be surprised. But her bust isn't bigger she is just thicker in the middle. Perimenopause is probably knocking on her door. I'm glad they were able to spend time in Denmark.

August 11
Visit Grønnegårds Theater
Joachim, Marie, Henrik, and Athena visited the Grønnegårds Theater, in which Holberg's festive comedy "Jean de France" was performed. The family took photos with theater director Steen Stig Lommer and actor Nicolai Jørgensen, who plays the main role Jean de France.⁣

In 1722, Ludvig Holberg finished the comedy ′′ Jean de France ", which follows the young Hans Frandsen, who returns excitedly home from a stay in France with associated attitude and French manners, under the name Jean de France (Hans from France).

Lovely!  One thing I really like about Marie/her role is that it seems like she balances well the idea of remaining loyal to your homeland while loving and embracing your new life.  I've never had the feeling that her heart fully lies in France and she only tolerates her time in Denmark.  I think she loves France and she loves Denmark and she feels blessed to have a foot in both countries.

This style of dress does not even look very good on children.
The boy is quite good looking.

I agree, Cordelia. She is always serene, which makes me think she takes things in stride and blooms where she’s planted.

And speaking of blooms, that dress looks cute on her, and I like how the brown shoes provide a nice contrast.

Serene...perfect word!  I always thought "Her Serene Highness" was such an apt title for Grace and it would be so appropriate here too.

And she looks wonderful here from head to toe!

I think Henrik looks just like Marie and Athena looks just like Joachim. Smiles, chin, shape of their faces. I never really noticed it before.

Yes, the resemblance to the opposite sex parent is striking.

Both children are dressed terribly. Jeans for Athena? Henrik’s shirt untucked?

Funny how these things are ignored when it’s Saint Marie’s children.

Their hair is clean and brushed, their casual clothes are clean, and their shoes are without holes. Nothing shabby or neglected to see here!

I didn’t say anything about shabby or neglected. They, especially Athena, are dressed too casually for this type of event. Athena looks like she’s off to a playdate at the park. I’ve literally seen other royal children, yes the Frodo children, and others like the Dutch and Spanish, be torn to threads for wearing “inappropriate” outfits to events.

Proves my point, really.

I think they look fine for a comedic play on what looks to be an outdoor stage. I’m more impressed that they look happy and engaged.

They all look fine to me as well. I actually really like that they’re all dressed like any other normal Danish family.

I know what you are saying but the other children are the offspring of kings and queens or incoming kings and queens. These are regular Danish kids who will have no role with the royal family as adults except on special occasions as guests of King Christian's enthronement or whatever. There is a difference to me. Kids you also have to pick your battles with. I am mostly bent out of shape with the Monaco twins and what they wear because honestly a distressed overall skirt dress with a Donald Duck appliqué does not say class or refinement it's a little too ordinary to me. I see no such commercialization here.
