Oh, I do agree with you guys, Cordelia Fitzgerald, and thecrownjewelthief - Marie looks just stunning. She always looks very feminine and her long hair gives her this softness and frames her face nicely. It makes her look rather younger than older.

In contrast, others need a good haircut because their long hair makes them look like a screeching banshee. Thankfully, with Marie we don't have to worry about that, she is as good as it gets.

Thanks for the jewel info, Peeds!  Star

I couldn't agree more with the bolded section.  She's the gold standard for non-crown princesses.

My pleasure...and one  Star right back atcha  Beer

November 16
Marie has invited a Danish TV team inside the private sphere in the French capital Paris, part of a brand new two-part documentary that will soon premiere.
There are scenes from the kitchen and dining room where Marie and Joachim together with their children have a full focus on utilizing their food and ingredients optimally and thus avoiding waste of food. The fight against food waste has become one of Marie's flagship issues, and in recent years she has focused on the theme with great effect.

On Tuesday, 23 November, the first of the two episodes of the miniseries "Princess Marie's fight against food waste" premieres, and in the documentary, viewers enter Princess Marie and Prince Joachim's fine apartment in Paris.

Just like on the Phillip/Mathilde thread for Belgium, I always get happy when I see a post on Marie/the Schacks threads!

I'd love to watch this show; I've been trying to be more conscious of food waste myself lately (yay me, I had leftovers from the depth of my freezer tonight!).

Greetings my Dears  Hug

A gift to all of you!

I've managed to find a full version of the TV documentary “Princess Marie’s fight against food waste”! And it’s indeed lovely.

It’s in Danish, but it still has a lot of great footage.

Enjoy:

Thank you for the video links! It played for me (I'm in the US). It's fascinating even though it is all in Danish.

Thank you for the links!

An interesting documentary. I was able to follow parts of it, as I compared the Danish to other Germanic languages such as Dutch, German and English.

suriv suriv thank you so much for the videos. I watched them even though I understood nothing but "master chef" lol. Marie is a revelation. What a great cause and a great woman just living her life on the down low but showing up when she needs to because she understands that there is a public role part of her life because of her marriage to Joachim. I get the impression that she is very comfortable speaking Danish and feels very Danish. Her interactions with the school kids and their families was wonderful and shows she is comfortable in many situations. I love their apartment and the very Danish feel to it those lights on their dining room table that turned on with just a touch I want those. Joachim eating a mango over the sink was terrific. These are not fussy people they just understand that different circumstances demand different levels of engagement and protocol. The children are delightful and seem calm.
