The flat hairstyle with bangs does her no favors. Greasy is still greasy. Kids are cute.

I like her hair in this fringe-bangs. She has nice eyes and it enhances them. The children are very sweet. They seem a happy little family.

Yup.
She chose willingly to not pursue an education. This chick wanted fame and fortune and lived by her body and her looks. Which, if it’s all that is possible, isn’t something to be judged for but in Sweden and only to gain fame and fortune is far from admirable.
She sure isn’t worthy of a HRH.
The strange thing is, she's not really good-looking. Those teeth! Plus, in her old photos, and some of the later ones, she looks nasty, like ... unwashed. Even her personality, or level of charm, seems only meh. I will say her body was pretty good, and readily available, so that must have made up for a lot. 😼 Sometimes she looks pretty like almost anyone can with some help... CP looks happy so I guess it works out at this point

Agreed. Being that pushy seems somehow ... not Swedish. And in no way admirable. I would have so much more respect for her if she’d actually accomplished something real and meaningful other than nude modeling and bagging a dimwit prince. Forget accomplishing anything, I would have some respect for her if she acknowledged how extremely lucky she has been in life. She went into an industry notorious for exploiting and destroying women when she was underaged and did not suffer the misfortunes most often visited on women in this industry. She was not sexually assaulted, exploited or trafficked. She wasn't used and abused in ways even successful porn actresses and models are when they are climbing up that rather greasy pole. And after 10-15 years of a life of iniquity she bags herself a dimwit prince with a captain save-a-ho complex and becomes an HRH without ever having to account for her past. Her life is proof that genies exist and they grant wishes without consequences. Leatherface and a big LOL at the bolded part. Whenever I see CP in uniform from now on: I will ever think on him as Captain Save-a-Ho. Also for all the reasons you excellently stated, I can never see these two without cringing. If they had retired from Royal duties to live as a private family? Absolutely fine. More power to them. But I can't stand seeing the favoritism from CG that has washed over CP in so many ways. In no way, shape or form did he or his wife - or his children, actually - deserve the favors they've been given.

The hair needs an update! Surely there are many fabulous salons in Sweden. The kids are very cute! Carl looks happy!

I often had to think about that event in France....where CP felt the need to 'physically defend' is rescue ho....apparently some man made comments about her. Well, apparently they are happy together and I wish them the best. But IMO most of the available brain capacity in that family went to Victoria and Madeleine.

But is that CP’s fault or should the blame lay with CG? I mean, it’s clear that he still wishes his son was the crown prince, but I don’t know if we can hold CP responsible for it. Unless he willingly encourages it, which he might. He seems a bit entitled to me and I don’t know him nearly as well as some people here.

In both this picture and the one released on Midsommar, she doesn't look happy. It's not just that she's smiling with a closed mouth (far be it from me to criticize that when I get annoyed with Kate's perpetual widemouth guffaws ) but if you look at her eyes, the smile doesn't reach. I actually don't like looking at these pictures because something just seems off with her. Adorable kiddos, of course!

She could be suffering from post partum depression. If she is, I hope she’s receiving help and feels better soon. It’s horrible to experience from what I’ve been told.

They seem to be a happy family. I guess they are doing what is expected from them, far less than what CG may have wished for. They are getting used to their new place in the order of things and may feel ( CP at least) a bit out of place or lost . If their marriage works, they'll probably accept , they will have to assume, their new role (as prince Bertil did) and raise their children in the most suitable way. As it has happened and happens in other RFs today and in the past. Their children may not have all of the privileges their parents ( I include Madeleine) had, but they will have the right means and connections in the world. It is CP's and S's job to adapt themselves and their offspring to the new circumstances. Good luck. The truth is they start the race with a not insignificant advantage.
