Did Delphine's appearance on DWTS Belgium go on TV yet?

Here we go!  Beer

"Princess Delphine of Saxe-Coburg confides in the documentary "Delphine, mon histoire" which will be broadcast on 12 January 2022 on the Belgian channel RTL TVI.

The princess confides in us about her childhood, saying that "everyone knew that Albert of Belgium was her father except her".

I really hope she is kind to Phil and family (not her dad, he doesn't deserve it).  Phil & Co. have behaved, to my knowledge, impeccably and graciously.

I like Delphine, but ... IMO, telling the emotionally gruesome details of her struggle in this documentary isn't right.   Yes, Albert behaved very badly toward her.  But letting the world know the details?   And if you want peace and reconciliation and acceptance, why do that?   All she's doing by exposing all this trauma to the public, is making the family (well, Albert anyway) look worse.

Maybe he hasn't reached out often enough since that famous meeting and this is her way of getting back at him?

Part 1 was broadcasted this evening. You can rewatch it online: https://www.vrt.be/vrtnu/...z/delphine/1/delphine-a1/ . You do have to make an account. It is completelly english spoken.
Part 2 and 3 can seemingly also already be watched. I will keenly do so tomorrow Smiley.

The Belgian public already knew the general lines but this documentary is completelly out of the ordinary. Must watch indeed :D.

I watched them both, very nicely done! I like how they used her "Love" art for the stage projection in the first dance. The second was well choreographed and entertaining. Thanks for posting Star

https://www.nu.nl/konings...st-samen-in-openbaar.html

Loosely translated as:

King Albert and daughter Delphine together for the first time in public

The Belgian royal family will be almost complete next week during the annual commemoration mass for the deceased relatives in the Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekerk in Laeken. Among others, King Albert and his illegitimate daughter Princess Delphine are present. It will be their first public appearance together.

The Belgian court announced the guest list on Thursday. King Philippe and Queen Mathilde are there, as are King Albert and Queen Paola, Princess Astrid and Prince Lorenz, Prince Laurent and Princess Claire and Princess Delphine with her husband James O'Hare. Philip's aunt Princess Léa is also present. The only absentee is Princess Marie Esmeralda.

Royalty reporter Wim Dehandschieter of Het Laatste Nieuws calls it "special" on Twitter that the family comes to mass almost completely.

The deceased members of the Belgian royal family are commemorated annually during a mass in Laeken. The Church of Our Lady contains the tombs of the most important 'dead' members of the Belgian royal family.

King Albert denied being Delphine's biological father until early last year, but DNA showed that claim was incorrect. Delphine was given the title Princess of Belgium and the new surname Van Saksen-Coburg.

April 1
Delphine attended the Canneséries festival.
The 5th edition of Canneséries opened its doors on April 1, awarding a prize to popular actress Gillian Anderson. Delphine caused a sensation on the pink carpet of the Cannes event thanks to her look of the day.

She wore one of her own creations, a "dress-work of art" from the Wearable Art Collection line of which she is the creator and "whose fabrics take up the motifs of her famous poetic and enforceable works", specifies the specialized site Histoires Royales.

The outfit in question, a shirt dress with long sleeves and a belt at the waist, with colorful inscriptions, is called "The WTFH Bubble Statement Dress" by its designer.

I wouldn't wear that outfit, but she has some elan and style and is an artist. I think this works and is much better than anything dear Pauline of Monaco has come up with. I can see the Palm Beach set wearing this.
