I think Sophie looks her age around 50 and looks very good but not here she's a try hard and that girl effortless dress doesn't goes with her body or personalty and those trashy heels

she seems vain and shallow especially bad when you look at her dughter wearing a younger shorter kid's clothing with a messy hair

I wonder how much she spends on herself? the clothing the face treatments, the workout
Thank you! I made a comment on a certain Splendorific royal website about Sophie's apparent unwillingness to dress Louise,  for her last three major public appearences, in anything other than old, too short and/or unflattering clothing, and had a brick thrown at me... glad to see that I'm not the only one drawing these conclusions re: Sophie.    She's too wrapped up in her own appearance, apparently, to take her daughter shopping for some new shoes, though she keeps herself well supplied.

Interesting pictures.  In the lower one the Duchess of Gloucester appears to be giving Kate a disapproving look, Michael of Kent is aiming a similar look at Wills, Zara and Autumn seem to be passing comment on someone or something across the aisle and Eugenie is clocking the sleepyhead.  She has also kicked her shoes off!  Harry is in a world of his own.
Maybe, the older Duchesses disapprove of the younger ones turning around in their seats and/or chatting to those behind or in front ... although perfectly normal behavior for the rest of us, it might be considered a little déclassé at a Westminster Abbey service with royalty.

Or, it could just be normal, everyday sourpuss expressions!    http://royaldish.com/Smileys/royaldish/nono.gif

I agree. I think that many of us would be surprised at the expressions on our face if we were photographed frequently.  This was just a moment in time. Two minutes later and they might have been smiling, yawning or sneezing.

Someone needs to talk to the younger royal females about appropriate skirt length at a religious ceremony in Westminster Abbey.  IMO, in that situation skirts should fully cover the knee when seated.  Even my preteen knows that!

Notice how desperately the Wessexes are sucking up to the A-Team!    Tongue

Would it be so wrong if they ACTUALLY got on?  They have been seen together at the Olympics/Paralympics and they all seem to get on, so why not at another family gathering?

Sophie fat?  That's something new!  She's got a pretty good figure for someone nearing 50 who had a baby in her 40's.  She is hippy though, i'll agree with that statement.
I have to agree. Edward is the only child of HM and the DoE with younger children so  it wouldn't surprise me if the Wessexes and Cambridges converse at events. Similar stage in life. The service had not begun yet so they're acting like any other extended family at an event.

I have to agree as well. Edward is their uncle and from my own family events, it's not at all uncommon for my uncles to make small talk with me or their other nieces/nephews. Wills and Kate clearly get along with the Wessex family enough to have asked Louise to be a bridesmaid in their wedding, so I can definitely buy some sincerity in their interactions. They may not be best friends, I know I wouldn't call my uncles my best friends, but we get along fine.

The Coronation Maid of Honour still has her dress from the 1953 Coronation.
