The contrast between St George's chapel as a happy wedding venue and empty, column funeral venue is very striking

Agreed, thinking back to the last two weddings there, so vibrant and full of people, flowers everywhere, happy faces. In contrast now with the empty spaces, everyone in black, masks covering their faces, tears of pain and sadness, solemnity. Such is life and death.
