Lilibet's dogs, the corgis, are no suitable dogs for a top lady to keep.  Corgis are farmers' dogs and they are very sharp and they bite people which is not diplomatic.

Corgi-shnorgis  there are bread for hearding and they can be very stubborn, and are most loyal and affectionate dogs. Generally, they are not biters, or nippers.

Although, mine is a mix, she has all the Corgi traits, this little lulu  Cute Dog

Apple is not the Cocker Spaniel, Hannish.  She is a white Bichon Frise.
Her friend Winston is the Cocker Spaniel.  Winston looks fairly typical. Very cute.  Dog
Lupo, I think, is a Cocker Spaniel crossed with a Labrador. (Spanador)

There are types of dogs quite related to the Cocker Spaniel.
I can think of the King Charles Spaniel, for example.

Lupo was called a purebred cocker spaniel, supposedly Kate's parents breed them.

There are two types of cocker spaniels. There is the English, and the American. Winston is likely an American, as they are known for their shorter noses and more pronounced brow, both of which the dog in the photo seems to have. The English tend to have a longer snout.

Cool thread.  Camilla has a puppy that she got from a shelter.  Very cute.
