That feather brooch is pretty fabulous. I hope Kate wears it often.

The Prince of Wales Feather Brooch is appropriately named. Catherine is The Princess of Wales.

The Williamsom Pink Diamond Brooch
The pink stone was found by the Canadian geologist Mr. Williamson in Tanganyika, and became the wedding gift to Queen Elizabeth II in 1947
Cartier was commissioned to create a setting for the cut diamond, and the pink became the main feature

The Cullinan V Brooch
The 18.8 carat heart-shaped brooch, made by Garrards, was originally worn by Queen Mary, as part of the suite of jewellery made for the Delhi Durbar in 1911.
Queen Elizabeth II inherited the brooch in 1953, and wore the brooch many times.

Wow, Camilla is now breaking out the big guns. I've heard that that Williamson brooch is incredibly incredibly valuable because of the rarity of the pink diamond. And of course those honking big pieces of the Cullinan diamond have no peer. I guess she's feeling very queenly these days. Good for her!

And she deserves to feel every inch the queen she is! She really does have the ability to rock the big guns and make the jewels suit to her style.

This magnificent diamond brooch and its sparkling yellow centerpiece were nearly sold at auction this month by Sotheby's in Geneva–but the lot was suddenly withdrawn just before the sale
