It must be strange to move to a new country and leave your career behind for the love of a man then when that doesn't work out to divorce not just him but the role you did so well and prepared for so flawlessly. It can be discombobulating. She sounds like a pretty smart woman who is handling her business pretty well. Her sons and her relationship to their father are pretty great indicators of a lot of success. Did her father in law like and support her? Henrik seemed to be into his family but I have no read on the marrieds in and changing dynamics.

I always got the feeling she was well liked in the family.
I remember Margrethe saying in an interview before Alexandra married Joachim,  that she was a lovely girl, or something to that effect.

She did really well while she was married to Jokke. The did a great job with the boys. She has kept a relatively low profile since the divorce. She made a few mistakes, but glasshouse - stone.
