I remember years ago seeing a photo of Fergie early on in her marriage in a dress that was so hideous that I wondered who hated her enough to bring it to her and persuade her to wear it. If I remember correctly, it was fitted but had a dropped waist and was in two fabrics, one blue and one green. It accentuated all the worst parts of her figure and made her look like a cross between a circus clown and someone from the backwoods who wore dressed made from feedsacks during the great depression. I've looked and looked for a photo but have never been able to find it again. MAybe she had the photo and all the negatives burned. She's never dressed well, but this was the absolute worst thing I ever saw on her.

I don't know, I think it is a fab idea of what to do when you have to attend something fancy, but the airline has lost your luggage.
There was a german singer comedian called Evelyn Künneke who sang in the 1960s... „dann mach ich mir 'nen Schlitz ins Kleid und find es wunderbar“ (then I cut a slit into my dress and think it's fabulous"), that phrase is often used when someone makes a rather weird fashion choice...

I should hate this one.  It has all the elemennts of fugly dress--busy print, excess frills, unappealing colors--but somehow I love it.  MC looks fabulous.

Every time I see this, it strikes me how beautifully constructed the bodice actually is. It fits her perfectly! Alas, for the lower part…

I can't help but love Mabel's outfit.  Yes, the bodice is gorgeous.  She's got the figure for it.  The bottom half is just daring and ballsy and fabulous.

Marie-Chantal and Mabel’s outfits are ugly but I do think the women of Monaco have the title of “Fugly Dress” champion, especially Stephanie.  She was the epitome of loud, bright colors and patterns, daring styles and the hair and makeup to go with them.  She was like the poster child for bad disco clothes in the 1980s and early 1990s.  Caroline, Charlotte, Charlene and Tatiana all add to this title.  Beatrice and Alexandra seem to have much better taste, thankfully!

There is not enough brain bleach in this world to free me from the abominations I have just seen!!!!   Nerves

I was a young woman in the 80s, meaning that the 80s esthetics is less shocking to me than to those who haven't been immunized in those years when everything was big, shrill and exaggerated. I confess, I think Diana looked great even in 80s clothes, there was nothing she couldn't wear. Poor Sarah always looked like the frumpy cousin next to her, I don't know why because she has lovely colours and could have looked so much better.

Queen Sonja, lovely lady but how does she pick her outfits?Huh? MM, seriously?Huh?

I thought I had seen the worst but then Stephanie of Monaco: hold my bustier... Yikes
