Yesterday a 39 year old German man died after being hit by at least 1 car on a Dutch highway.

Apparently he ran after his dog that had escaped from the car as they stopped at a gas station. The dog was missing since yesterday, but today they found the poor animal.

Oh bless him! So sad. Doggie seatbelts people! Please! They are cheap and can save lives.

How horrible and I swear so terribly relatable. A while ago a poor woman drowned trying to safe her dog, and when everybody pondered about her stupidity to jump after her pooch, I silently thought: that could have been me...
My dogs are my kids, I would run and jump after my daughters and I would most likely do the same for my furkids, no matter how stupid...
