Question:  What does "give" mean in this context?  (I feel like I'm channeling Bill Clinton, "It depends on what the meaning of "is" is"   )

Give = they are now her personal property and if she leaves the DRF she can take them with her?

Give = she now has permission to wear them and only she can wear them?

Interesting question! Because the stones are semi-precious I assume they were a true gift. Practical Marge will want to ensure some nice royal pieces make their way to the descendants of the non-hier sibs, so maybe she’s feeling generous from a dynastic standpoint.

Wow, that was interesting - she seems personable, relaxed, nice, in the interview.  Quite different (to me) than her stiff/posing, clothes-horse persona ... Thanks for posting it.

Her behaviour has definitely improved in recent years. I think ageing in the public eye is probably humbling.
