For her wedding in 1893 a Diamond Rose of York fastened Princess Mary of Teck's wedding veil.

We can't have a floral jewelry thread without the Strathmore Rose tiara. I wonder if we'll ever see it worn again.

Great Britain

Burmese Ruby Tiara

Nizam of Hyderabad Tiara

Cubbit-Shand Tiara (This diamond floral tiara comes from the Duchess of Cornwalls mother Rosalind Shand and probably maternal grandmother, Sonia Keppel Cubitt.

Lotus Flower Tiara

Strathmore Rose Tiara - A wedding gift to the Queen Mother in 1923 from her father, the Earl of Strathmore, the tiara features a garland of wild roses in diamonds mounted in silver and gold. It was one of her most rarely worn pieces, worn for a portrait in the 1920s and on a visit to the opera in the 30s. It appeared at an exhibit in 2002, but hasn’t been seen on anyone since the Queen Mother died

Aquamarine Pine-flower Tiara

Spencer Tiara - Formed of different pieces, the center element was a wedding gift to Cynthia, Viscountess Althorp from Lady Sarah Spencer in 1919. The oldest pieces of the tiara are at the ends, said to have come from a tiara once belonging to Frances, Viscountess Montagu who left the pieces to Lady Sarah in 1875. Four matching pieces from Garrards were added on in 1937 to create the tiara as we see today.

I could look at tiara pictures all day!!    Thank you Princi!!   Star What is the story of the man wearing the lotus flower tiara?

And I will never get over the dismantling of the Nizam of Hyderabad tiara into that Burmese ruby monstrosity.  No

The Canaught tiara always looks to me like loops of barbed wire.
