A popular / commercial written (small) article:

https://showmag.nl/royals...stoten-door-deze-prinses/

Loosely translated as:

Princess Alexia overthrown by this princess!

Alexia has been quite active on the TikTok platform for a while under the name 'LexiavanO'. The princess was even discredited a while ago because a video would be 'not royal'. Many people took it up for her at the time and let it be known that this is the case with the youth of today. And yes, the princess is also part of today's youth and all the trends that come with it. Maxima also responded at the time: “They also have to learn things themselves. As parents you can say twenty times what to do, but then the friends are all together and then things go wrong. That's the good thing about growing up, you can make mistakes, as long as you learn from them." And of course my mother is absolutely right. She was also known as the TikTok princess because of her dancing skills and lip-syncing with friends.

Alexia no longer the TikTok princess!

But there is now competition on the platform that mainly young people use. Leah, the daughter of Princess Märtha Louise of Norway, is becoming quite popular on the platform. The sixteen-year-old princess already has 112,000 followers on the platform and is now called the TikTok princess. The princess calls herself "notleahhhbeauty" on the platform. Besides that the blonde herself can be seen in the videos, we can also see her mother. He happily participates in the hype to film your dances. Incidentally, the princess has been active on YouTube for 4 months, where she already has more than 11,000 subscribers. Below the images:

https://www.nu.nl/konings...ngsdag-in-maastricht.html

Loosely translated as:

Princess Alexia is in the Netherlands and accompanies family on King's Day in Maastricht

Princess Alexia will nevertheless be present in Maastricht on Wednesday to celebrate King's Day, the Government Information Service (RVD) confirms to NU.nl. The middle daughter of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima left for Wales in August 2021, where she will complete secondary school.

It was not yet certain whether Alexia (16) would temporarily interrupt her time at the United World College of the Atlantic to join her family on King's Day. Schools in Wales are now off holiday.

Alexia goes for her international baccalaureate (equivalent to a pre-university diploma) in Wales and completes her last two years of secondary school here. The sixteen-year-old princess is thus following in her father's footsteps. King Willem-Alexander attended Atlantic College from 1983 to 1985 and is now the school's patron.

Alexia learns at the school how to conduct research and how to think critically. She also takes courses that have to do with science, for example. Crown Princess Leonor of Spain (16) also attends the school in Wales.

King's Day is celebrated in Maastricht on Wednesday. It is the first King's Day since 2019 that is celebrated in a city and with the public.

Correction: An earlier version of this message stated that schools in the Netherlands do not have a holiday either. That is not entirely correct: it differs per school (and on King's Day all students have the day off anyway). The message has therefore been amended.

Past Sunday, June 26, Alexia celebrated her 17th birthday.

https://www.nu.nl/konings...ventiende-verjaardag.html

Loosely translated as:

Princess Alexia celebrates seventeenth birthday

Princess Alexia celebrates her birthday on Sunday. The middle daughter of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima blows out seventeen candles. She is probably celebrating her birthday in the Netherlands, because two days earlier she had her picture taken with her parents and sisters during the annual photo session.

The princess has been studying at the United World College of the Atlantic in Wales since September, where she now lives. There she wants to obtain her International Baccalaureate degree. According to the annual calendar, the princess had her last day of school before the summer holidays on Friday, June 17.

Alexia Juliana Marcela Laurentien, as the princess is called in full, was born on June 26, 2005 in The Hague. She is second in line to the throne after her sister Amalia (18). After her, their youngest sister Ariane (15) was born.

Hockey, playing guitar and singing are some of Alexia's hobbies.

That’s way harsh Tai Blink

She’s still a child. Quite pretty too IMO. To me she seems a bit insecure. It must be difficult to grow up in the limelight, especially when you’re a teen.

I wouldn't be a teenage girl in the public eye for all the diamonds in the Dutch jewel vault

I find her so lovely. I always have. All three of them are lovely. I don't know anything about their personality, but they are so young. Give them a bit of time.

Hell no.  It would be awful.  I have to say, I can't stand the posing, but she is only doing what her peers do.  It's hardly surprising.

I find her very pretty (lovely hair colour) and she will outgrow the posing. She is trying to find her place, I think.

 Star to everyone.

You couldn't pay me to be a public figure and be scrutinised this way, but she was born into this and never got to choose, and simply has to accept it.

She's 17 and the middle child in a family where her big sister will be the Queen one day, I think she's just trying to find her own place in the world because the Dutch RF expects the non heirs to largely make their own way in life in adulthood. The posing/TikToks etc is pretty normal among girls her age. I'm glad social media wasn't a thing yet when I was in high school.

I also think she's still pretty, but even if I didn't, beauty is a very subjective thing and someone's character is far more important than their looks.
