I don't care for the bride's dress. I think it looks dated. It would look more elegant if the embroidery was limited to the bodice.
I don't think the deep V neck is particularly elegant. Maybe a bateau or square neckline would be better.

I like it.  The design and embroidery are beautiful.  However, it doesn't fit her very well.  It appears to be one or two sizes too large, and the neckline is too wide for her shoulders, which is why the dress looks like it could fall off of her at any moment.  I'd like know more about the fabric.  To my eye, it looks like linen, which would be an unusual choice for a bridal gown.

Mother of the bride looks great.

I don't understand why Alex of Luxembourg always looks so dowdy.
MT spends a fortune on new clothes from top brands while Alex wears her old hand me downs or dated, ill-fitting monstrosities like this.

I actually like Alex in this.

Marie-Astrid married Ralph Worthington today in Italy

I like the brides dress. But even more I like the one of bride's maids in the background.

Is it Maria Laura of Belgium?

Margaretha must be very proud of her daughters.
Yes, that's Maria Laura, and this is the best I've ever seen her look. Usually she's a fashion disaster.
Very pretty dress and nice hair.

I also like that the bride let her senior bridesmaids wear whatever they liked instead of wearing matchy-matchy dresses they'll never wear again. Having said that I don't care for the copper dress the other bridesmaid is wearing. Not a flattering color. The third bridesmaid is wearing a regular button down shirt with her floral skirt. That works sometimes, but here it doesn't as it doesn't look pretty or formal enough.

Thanks.

None of Princess Astrids daughters is married yet. I wonder, if we'll see some Belgian weddings in the future. ML definitely has got the right age.

Her smile creeps me out a bit. I think she wants to bite a shark.

They both look a bit off to say it nicely

But she'd be a great testimonial for a dentist.

This "noble weddings" is all a big f6ckfest wedding market. One does stay in one's circle, doesn't one?!?  Roll Eyes

Looks like Maria Laura (?) Lorenz's younger daughter, in yellow.  Bit of an overbite (like me!) but pretty.  I wonder if her sister (MOH?) is seeing any one.

Who is the gentleman?

Ernst Hanoverís son, I think.

I just came across some of the pictures of wedding guests. The young man is Prince Christian of Hanover.

i like it too. but it looks like Scarlett o'hara sewing the curtains to make her green velvet frock. nothing matches on the bridal frock. at least scarlet's frock looked a bit more put together
