June 28Albert attends the UN Ocean ConferenceAs part of the United Nations Ocean Conference, which is being held in Lisbon from 27th June to 1st July 2022, the Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco, together with the Oceanographic Institute Musée océanographique de Monaco and the Oceano Azul Foundation , held a side-event dedicated to Polar Oceans: engine to the global ocean.
Under the presidency of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco, scientists, experts, artists and filmmakers discussed not only the importance of the polar oceans as vectors of global ocean and climate change, but also the need to contribute to making the scientists' messages better heard:
-"The laboratory represented by the Poles thus offers a genuine concentration of the difficulties encountered. However, it also offers prospects for solutions, through various lines of action, and which we know are effective."
