Joachim, with a delegation from DALO visited a production site in Thales, where a wide array of radars are manufactured. Included was a briefing on their cooperation with the Danish company Weibel.

Joachim visits the Parisis- squadron at Air Base 107 outside Paris
Members of the base showcased their elite sharpshooter and briefed about their mission and the squadron’s history.

Students from the Øregård Gymnasium visited the Danish Defence Mission in Paris
They talked about French defense and security policy, French-Danish defense cooperation, terrorism, the Ukraine crisis, and not least the upcoming French presidential election.

Joachim not in Paris at the moment sent a video greeting.

Meeting of Danish and French Defense Attachées
The Danish and French defense commands and defense attachées met in Copenhagen to discuss our cooperation, the war in Ukraine and ideas for future cooperation, which a subsequent reception.

Joachim received two high school classes from 2nd grade from Egaa and Støvring.
The classes were particularly interested in the co-operation between Danish and French defense, including industrial cooperation.

Joachim, in his role as Defence Attaché, Brigadier General,  paid a visit to the marine industry group GICAN in Paris
The marine industry group GICAN InduNav, encompasses 250+ affiliate industrialists in the maritime industry. The parties discussed perspectives for future cooperation between the Danish and French industries.

At my first glance of the photo, I looked at the man 2nd from the left and wondered what on earth President Zelenskyy was doing at this engagement! 

It seems like Joachim is busy these days.

Joachim, in his capacity as Defense Attaché, signed a joint declaration on strategic partnership in the defense industry with the Danish Embassy in Paris at the House of Industry in Copenhagen.
DI Defense and Security is Denmark's industry association for the defense, space, and security industry. The background for the partnership between the embassy and DI Defense and Security is the desire for new and strengthened cooperation between Denmark and France in the field of the defense industry and thus also the desire to increase the Danish defense industry's exports to France.

European and transatlantic cooperation has never been more important, and with the government's defense industry strategy, a new framework has been created for closer cooperation within the defense industry.

- "At a time when there is a need to strengthen defense, security, and unity in Europe, it is a great pleasure for me as a defense attaché to contribute to strengthening strategic cooperation between Denmark and France and not least between the two countries' defense industry", says Defense Attaché, Brigadier General Prince Joachim, according to the press release from Danish Industry.

The purpose of the agreement is first and foremost to follow up on the successful defense export promotion last year in Paris, where concrete agreements were entered into on orders between the Danish and French defense industries.

Secondly, to strengthen the strategic and materiel cooperation between Denmark and France, not least between the Danish and French defense industries.

 - "It is a great pleasure that the embassy shares the Danish defense industry's desire to strengthen cooperation with French defense and French defense companies. In the light of the security policy situation, it is quite obvious that strategic cooperation will be strengthened between the industries of the European countries. We know from the push last year that there are great opportunities for Danish companies in strengthened cooperation with France", says director Joachim Finkielman, DI Defense and Security.

Not remotely the point of the story about Joachim, but that is an interesting portable wall of potted plants.  It's like they saw the Belgians' adorable tiny houseplants for their zoom calls and decided to raise the stakes a bit!  What will Phil & Til come up with to top this??

Joachim participates in Medal Ceremony
He awarded French Marine Nationale soldiers, having served last year under Danish command in OP AGENOR, the Danish Medal for Outstanding Services in International Operations.

He looks very comfortable in uniform. Some royals look like they are playing dress up. He doesn't.

I'm impressed that he seems quite busy even if he's not thrilled with his placement in Paris.  Nice to see him earning his keep, so to speak, and not just sitting around feeling sorry for himself.  It seems, and I may be wrong, that his work calendar is vastly busier than his brother's.

And Cathy Jane, I agree with you about his appearance in uniform.

Joachim was always busier than Fred, but the Danish media outlets didn't choose to report on his patronages back home. He attended his events with expertise and respect for the organizers at all times. Fred, in contrast, more often than not looks like he rolled drunk out of bed at most happenings.
