I loved HM bright green on the balcony, and also noticed the green flag in the middle of the crowd - can someone enlighten me as to the significance?

Story locally is that it was a Devon flag flown by a couple from Topsham near Exeter.

It seems like the family wisely decided to limit the concert to older children only, Charlotte being the youngest one there if memory serves. The pageant/parade was no holds barred - bring all the kids. The only one missing was Sienna and she's only 9-10 months old. Lucas and August provided an awww factor to go along with Louis' antics.

Was there a jubilee visit to New Zealand?

So far the only Jubilee visits have been to Canada (Charles and Camilla), the Caribbean (William and Catherine and Edward and Sophie), Gibraltar (Edward and Sophie) and PNG (Anne and Tim).

Anne's visit to Australia wasn't part of the Jubilee but to open the Royal Easter Show in her role as Patron of the Commonwealth Agricultural Societies - a patronage she took over from Philip. There were no events to celebrate the Jubilee in there. I suspect that was planned as BP would have known that Australia was due to have a federal election in May and they do try to avoid royal visits during election campaigns so kept her engagements in Australia quite low key and limited to Sydney only.

Peter Philips was born in the Queen's Silver Jubilee year as well and if Sophie Wessex hadn't had to terminate the pregnancy she had in late 2001 a second grandchild would have been born in 2002 - the Queen's Golden Jubilee and Isla Philips was born in the Queen's Golden Jubilee year of 2012.

It isn't beyond possible that either Eugenie or Beatrice or both may be pregnant now but haven't announced and so another great-grandchild could be born this year (only if an announcement of a pregnancy is made in the next couple of weeks of course).
