I’m sorry, I adore Lady Sarah. I prefer occasionally fuddy, duddy and old fashioned, but obviously true to herself than the absolute fashion victims some of her female in laws make themselves into. She isn’t someone with a clothing allowance keep in mind.

I mean, when you find a style that works for you, which also happens to be timeless and elegant, you go with it. I think Lady Sarah always look very chic, and she seems like a truly nice person. Unlike her dearly departed mother who was a royal b!tch.

Ahum, to all who felt offended, this topic was not intended to be negative/ an insult/ etc.
In another RD topic it was remarked that Sarah had a rather typical style, including cardigans. Then I noticed her Ascot outfit the last two days, which triggered me to create a topic about it.

I didn't take it that way, Principessa! I love that you created a thread for Lady Sarah! She's a generally under-the-radar royal whom I enjoy seeing, and I love that you compiled pictures of her many various outfits.

I like this thread and think it is instructive. I see the same cardigan but in different sizes too not just colors. Buttoned up they work as a top otherwise they can be a cardigan over other tops. I like a uniform for work events. It makes life so much easier. And Sarah is true to herself. I'm sure with two kids they have made gentle fun of her for it. There is actually variety here in terms of colors and patterns and accessories sparse as they are.

It is a very elegant look that gets her through any number of different type of events - more informal, casual events and the most formal by adding diamonds and pearls.

I love that you started this thread and I like to see her thematic dressing and the tiny variety within a "uniform" or basic look. Plus I grow to like her more and more. I wonder how she (like the York girls, I think) managed to be so steadfast and normal despite having two over the top parents who generated countless headlines in their day. She must have been affected by her childhood, yet has quietly found her own way, what seems to be a happy marriage and two gorgeous finding their way and not being embarrassing.
Personally, I love her look. It's one I would have, the most of all the royals what my actual style would be like. I cannot be said to have "style" though.
I recall they had to sell off a lot of Margaret's jewels to pay taxes. I'm glad she is close to the Queen. Maybe that's why she turned out okay.

Great thread, thank you for starting. I have seen Lady Sarah in the flesh and she is a tiny, tiny petite person (as is Daniel). Normally you'd say No to pleated skirts, large hats on a short person but she really makes it work for her. I like her jewellery - not too much but what she has is top quality stuff.

short sleeved woolly top - the heatwave version of the cardigan. I always thing she looks great and doesn't need turn up with "labels"

Makes me wonder if she reads this board, too, and is just playing with us!
