I like leti's dress, but hopefully not everyday back and white.
Surprise to see the face mask again.
Not so surprising. I always wear an FFP2 mask ,even outdoors,and don't take risks, but I tested positive for the first time yesterday. Wishing you a speedy recovery. |

Just found out a video of the last NATO summit in Madrid in 1997 hosted by J-C and Sofia...I was only 3  The Clintons were there It was a black tie event...perhaps tomorrow it's going to be the same protocol  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZlwihixQFkAll the best for you, dear Lord Gin |

Except for the floral one, the other tiaras in the Spanish RF are rather mediocre. If leti wears big earrings and a necklace (please do since you are the host, the Queen), it pretty much makes up for a lack of tiara. Clintons, JC and Sofia looked so 'young' back then. |

I find such spouses program for G7/NATO mettings etc. so outdated in 2022, why do the spuses need to go in the first place? The men talking and discussing war, and the women (mostly) going to museums and sightseeing....I mean many of them are very educated and have their own career, like Joachim Sauer who was a world class chemist and had to constantly answer why he mostly did not go on such visits....

Glad to hear you are feeling better LG.
I was listening to the news in Telemadrid this morning and heard that the dinner tonight is not a "gala" dinner in the sense of expecting long gowns for women. It's a welcoming dinner to the people attending the NATO summit and the fashion protocol is short evening dress, kneee high or just above the knee for women.
