I am haven't really been posting, because I am still trying to absorb everything that has happened in the last 24 hrs. Seeing the titles Prince and Princess of Wales, that has been decades since someone held that official title. All my hopes to them.

 William and Kate do have ties to Wales - they lived in Anglesey after their marriage and have undertaken a number of official visits to Cardiff, north Wales, Barry island, etc |

The Prince and Princess of Wales will approach their roles in the modest and humble way they’ve approached their work previously. The new Princess of Wales appreciates the history associated with this role but will understandably want to look to the future as she creates her own path. |

I'm sure the Queen was so proud of them, Charles is too, and thank God they took some really big steps the last years, they keep proving they are worth it.
I think it says a lot that Charles "promoted" them so quickly.

I'm really proud for them and wish them best wishes and good luck. I'm sure her passing so quickly, the big move, kids starting school, all the changes coming fast and furious is overwelming. Grateful to know they are a strong foundation and have a loving family on both sides for support and encouragement.

I feel this new responsibility will be the key in the door that propels them into the kind of service to the nation (and community of nations) they've needed. If only they don't falter, & they have good advice & support they need from their team of assistants & advisors. King Charles, most graciously & firmly, backs them 100% which is also *great*. I *loved* the way he spoke of the Prince and Princess in his speech. |
