I know this point has been made numerous times before, but is it so damn difficult to tie your hair back when you're in a food environment?? Other royals manage to quickly tie their hair back (Marie comes to mind), why not Kate?

It’s spring and the event is showcasing food, art, culture and she shows up in a fall outfit with spiked heels. Nothing wrong with her outfit but it would have been better in the autumn visiting a hospital or a more “serious” event.

But I remember being impressed that a royal had bothered to tie up their hair. An observation about William, he seems so much more settled and happier in his role than in years previously. He used to have a bit of a stand-offish aura about him, but photos from today suggest he's genuinely happy to be there and isn't nervous or afraid to have fun. I know he's 40 and it's a long time coming, but progress is progress, I guess! |

 WOW that's a wonderful turnout for them! It's so nice to see the comfortable, happy, open interaction with everyone. That 1st pic from Aubiette is really special, direct eye contact, open smile and real connection. They look to be really enjoying themselves. I love that raspberry color too!

She looks AMAZING in that colour. She does look a bit "fallish" but perfectly nice. My only complaint is I wish William would do up a button on his shirt. I don't want to see his chest hair.  |
