That pic of W looking through the car window gave me a flash of Edward VII (d 1910). Not sure why, maybe the nose, the expression, the angle, not sure.
I can see what you’re saying.
I can’t believe we’re witnessing William as Prince of Wales about to participate in his fathers coronation. I don’t know why it still seems so unbelievable.
I'm only 10 years older than he is. I remember his parents' wedding, I remember his birth, remember him being his generation's "Boss Baby" in the panels of the Bloom County comic strip. I'm amazed he's married, with kids, and Prince of Wales.

I’d be very surprised if Louis has any kind of role. He is probably there to see how everything is going to be, how it will look, where he will sit, etc. That’s the best chance any parent has on a young child behaving. When my boy was young, and even as a tween, he manages best when he knows what is going on, in what order, and when everything ends and when it’s time to go back home. So first this, then this, then this, and then home.
I agree, Charlotte and particularly Louis were brought along so they would know how things wii go on Saturday. I hope they both got to explore a bit with one of the minor prelates while the others were rehearsing.
I don't know how they do it at the Abbey, but in the case of weddings TKotB made bridal parties run through the ceremony three times - processing in and out each time and the couple themselves went through the vows a couple of times all on their own with him.
He liked the wedding planners he worked with as they rode herd on the processions and left the rest to him.
