Obviously they need to visit things that their foundation is involved with but I am so sick of their away days being only things their interested in and/or involved with and/or strongly connected with an interest/involvement. Throw in a nursing home, a hospital, a hospice, a school, a major industry, anything to get a little more breadth to these away days.
I do like William's red sweater...so much so that I'm willing to overlook the suede shoes.
Most royals 'away days' are focussed on areas of interest for that royal/couple in that place e.g. when Anne does a lot of away days they will focus on one issue such as Riding for the Disabled or Save the Children ... even when she was recently in Uganda each day focussed on one of her charities - one was Save the Children and a second was Opportunity International UK.
Only the late Queen's away days seemed broader in focus.
