Honestly, I've liked these two (half) days of engagements - I appreciate the royal visiting Aberfan and Kate's interaction with the little bag thief is adorable. Good to see a rewear of an old Zara (I think) dress.
I'm trying to think where in Wales Kate and Will have yet to visit, as they've made a lot of trips there over the years. I think Aberystwyth is still yet to get a K&W appearance

I agree - this was a nice engagement altogether and little Daniel Williams 'stealing' her purse was a kind of icing on the event.  For those upthread who mentioned they seem to be on and around and about and then vanish for weeks - check the school schedule and you'll know when we won't be seeing them. I've found it the best barometer by far. I think Sandringham and Amner Hall is to W&K as Balmoral was, and is to HLM and C&C. |

They haven’t done much of North East Wales (that I recall). |

They haven’t done much of North East Wales (that I recall). You are right - C&C did Wrexham not long ago, but it should be on W&K's list, too. Snowdonia is still to explore, but they've definitely done north and south Wales, Cardiff, Barry, Pembroke Dock, Swansea, Anglesey, Bangor... |

So short before the coronation the limelight IMO should be on Charles, so they are doing okay (they are getting more coverage than C&C).

How many years of marriage did his parents have before their split? Looks like W&K seem to have a solid foundation toward many many more good years.
I bet that even though Katherine was sucked up into all the pageantry of their royal wedding, she could not really have anticipated the events that are coming next weekend.
