Well, reigning monarchs don't go to other monarchs' coronations/installations, so she might take Sofia of Spain as her +1.  They do that a lot for various royal events.

I really hope this will be a tiara setting, we so rarely see Charlene in a tiara! I read that Jacques will ne attending but not Gabriella. Makes me wonder what other heirs and their heirs will attend (here's hoping for Vic and Estelle or IA!)

I'm surprised.  As I mentioned above, reigning monarchs don't usually attend other reigning monarchs coronations.  The only exception was the queen of Tonga in 1953, as far as I know.  But then, the Brits are the only ones left in Europe who have coronations, and I guess times change!

I remember reading about the Queen of Tonga at HLM's coronation. Methinks the lady was a force of nature.

Yes, consorts are not the reigning monarch.  Maud of Norway attended the 1937 coronation, in a first.  I believe it was to show solidarity after the abdication.

Any inkling of what the dress code for attendees will be? And will the peers be able to get their coronets out of mothballs for the event?

I would also like it if George and Charlotte got little golden crowns like Elizabeth and Margaret got at their dad's coronation. I think Charles was too little for one when his mom was crowned.
