Ok, if you were a royal or about to marry into a royal family and had the pick of any of the known tiaras in the world what would you choose? I am not asking you to list your very most favorite of all tiaras, but which one would be your dream to wear on your wedding day.

I think I might like Queen Mary's bandeau as worn by Meghan. I would prefer that over any of the spikey tiaras because I have a horror of anything in which my hair could get tangled.
The sapphire bandeau tiara.

What a great question!!

If I had an engagment ring of a specific colour I'd match it (my favourite colour is blue so perhaps a tiara with a hint of blue, like Marie's loaned sapphire tiara). Otherwise I'm not sure I'd wear a tiara with a coloured gem. I love the Braganza tiara so maybe that. I like the Strathmore Rose and Connaught, but they maybe too dainty with a veil as well (or with flowers as I've always visionerd, a la Fergie or Madde),

The Poltimore is similar to a crown, I always view it as a more extravagant version of the Swedish traditional wedding crowns I like, but the Hyderabad (is that spelled correct) would be gorgeous for a wedding!

CF, I'm with you! Had the original idea for the Braganza and then I kept thinking 'but what about x tiara' and snowballed

The Connaught tiara. It pairs up well with a lace veil and IMO also has a simultaneously a light, regal and fairytale-ish aura

Well if I was marrying a crown prince (or one high up in the chain) and had every expectation to wear diamond tiaras in the future, I would probably go for the adorably sweet orange blossoms tiara given to Queen Victoria from her husband as an anniversary present. I love the gold, the white enamelled flowers and the green oranges. They would go perfectly with my personal colours and I find the piece extremely charming.
Since I am sadly incapable of posting pictures I can only link to a pinterest if that is ok...: https://www.pinterest.de/pin/803751864719002438/

The enameled orange blossom wreath from Albert indeed would be a sweet and lovely choice. I'm surprised no royal bride since then has opted to wear it. It would have been a natural choice for Beatrice . . . .

That AI commentary calling it a ``tire- ra'' is pretty irritating, though.
