Yes, public speaking is not for everyone and it's difficult to train yourself. I feel for them, especially Kate. I would feel so self-conscious every time I spoke, knowing that every word and nuance would be dissected.

I don’t feel for Kate because that is what Kate signed up for. It wasn’t news that Kate also married a job that would include public speaking. And while she isn’t a natural born public speaker, (very few are in Obama territory), she obviously has now been coached which is fantastic. And that’s what she should have done from day 1. That and learning Welch. Hopefully, she is working on the Welch part.

She really is the human embodiment of fake it til you make it but she still isn't there. I feel that when I listen to her talk because she sounds like she has authority and knowledge but she's play acting at being a superstar. Just waiting for the superstar to appear but that hasn't happened and never will.
