It says Camilla will be there, and she and "other family members will be joined by the late King’s widow Queen Anne-Marie, their eldest son Crown Prince Pavlos, other members of the Greek royal family and foreign royals for the UK memorial service in the nave of the 15th century chapel in Berkshire."

I think it's not too much to ask that William attend to honor his godfather since he had to miss the actual funeral. I don't see entries for anyone on Feb. 27 on the diary of engagements on the BRF website so I'm hoping we'll see more than just Camilla and the Kents.

I swear to God. I like William in general but this family first business also extends to his godfather (thank you I didn't know that or forgot). It's in Windsor. Right on his doorstep. If Kate needs someone I'm sure one or two of the Middleton clan can be there. He should go.

It doesn't say anything about William and only mentions the BRF in the context of Charles being unlikely to attend due to his cancer diagnosis and so Camilla will be the most senior British representative.

I would hope William would attend as its literally in his back garden. Who knows though. He could have and IMO should have stepped up a bit more since his father's cancer diagnosis and hasn't so maybe he won't attend.

I really don't understand all the "taking care of her", it is not like they don't have staff, or even Catherine's family which we know they are close. Like it or not he has a role to play, and plenty of assistance if needed, something most of us won't in the same situation. I don't mean to sound horrible but unless they chose to reveal more information about her condition, and with the King undergoing a cancer treatment and still trying to be as much around as possible his reaction feels childish, and out of place.

It is the family business, he does not have a choice unless he decides to rennounce those rights.

William not going to his godfather’s funeral looked bad, and set up a lot of talk about arrogant Windsors shunning European royalty, but not going to a memorial service for his godfather on his own doorstep is just appalling without a solid reason. Charles has a solid reason not to attend. William needs to give a solid reason or face serious criticism if he doesn’t go. And the fact that he hasn’t confirmed is concerning, if the Queen can confirm her attendance why can’t he? He has been making statements on international affairs and positioning himself as a diplomat and this sort of thing is what diplomats do- they build relationships, get to know the right people in the right places so that when it’s necessary to act they have something to work with. William needs to build up his diplomatic portfolio if he wants to be taken seriously.

If Kate's at high risk for infection I could see why going to a large gathering isn't ideal.  I think it depends.  And since we know nothing about her condition, I think it's not fair to judge.

Indeed that’s why they have all that help - so that they can do a reasonable amount of royal work and know that vulnerable family members are well looked after. I have a feeling that the press know what is wrong with Kate, because otherwise they would be publishing truffle hunting articles trying to dig up the details. But the royal family do owe the public a bit of an explanation. Not the full truth, just something that explains what we are seeing. Charles did this the right way, we don’t know the details of his cancer or his treatment, but we know that he has it, he’s addressing it and he’s looking forward to a full return to health. It all makes sense. What we are hearing about Kate and William does not make sense. And the mystery is spilling out into places it has no business being. Like Constantine’s memorial service which should be all about him and bring comfort to his closest family.

They say foreign royals are attending, I wonder how many will be repeat attendees from the funeral? I’d expect a few at least. I wonder if Margrethe will go to support her sister? That would be nice. But she might not be up to it.

His been to a gala dinner, the BAFTA’s, and an investiture…all large gatherings.

The family travelled to Anmer so I would assume that suggests a certain amount of post surgery fitness/wellness. Certainly enough to cope while William is somewhere close by for an hour or so.
Anyway, lets not let this turn into all about the Wales.

Spain: Sofia, Juan Carlos, Felipe, Letizia, Elena and Cristina are supposed to be attending. Irene will be there unless health issues preclude her attendance.

Denmark: I could see Margrethe and Benedikte attending. (I don't know if Margrethe is up for the travel, though.) Some combination of Margrethe and Benedikte's children might also be in attendance.

UK: Camilla is announced. I would imagine Anne would be there. Depending on health issues, the Duke of Kent, Princess Alexandra and Prince & Princess Michael (along with some of their children) might participate. I guess William is the wild card.

I have no idea how extensive the invitation list to this is. Would they really be inviting all the reigning European houses - Belgium, Lichtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Norway, the Netherlands and Sweden? I guess we'll find out on the day.
