He looks so much better. The move to France has been so good for him I think.

Did you not remember he had blood clots in France ? The stress might have a lot to do with it  .  It seems he has been taking good care of himself (who wouldn't do that) since.

I would guess that if he (or his mother or his wife) thought it was a bad place for him and caused the blood clot in his head then he would not have stayed.

There was no place for him in Denmark, even if he wanted to leave, it couldn't happen right away. It seems they will leave after the 1st contract is up soon. Anyway it was a good thing for him to take care of his diet, quit smoking as Larzen mentioned after the scary blood clot.

I think he stopped smoking before the stroke because his children were worried about him.

He does look unkempt, rumpled, like he just got up from a nap. I wonder if he is having post -stroke issues? Strokes are tough to recover from (i mean, it’s possible, but it’s hard) and he’s had a lot of stress lately, which really can’t help.

His colleagues probably dressed up to meet him - but royals have to be careful, because there's the risk of being the only one in the room with a tie.

Also, this may be the tail end of his working day.

If he was able to go to Vietnam a few months ago on a long flight then was able medically then but of course things change.... just badly dressed

As the old QM in UK said if they are coming out to see you then dress up as it is an occasion... he could be the best dressed but better than the worst

He looks healthy, but yes - shirt tucked in and better (or at least darker) shoes. In fact all three of the men don't look so great from the ankle downwards

The man in grey looks the best but both I find it difficult to decide if Joachim is underdressed or the two are overdressed.. either way it seems it was an actual work meeting which to me makes the photo a bit odd, unless the companies involved wanted to publish it.

I think Joachim still has some physical side effects from the stroke. Hopefully he will continue to be healthy.
